Grafton has a number of beautiful historic buildings and parks. Race meetings are held frequently with a nine-day carnival in July.

The Jacaranda Festival is held on the last weekend in October with parades, beauty and baby contests and many other associated events.

The river provides the perfect playground with water-skiing, sailing, dragon boat races and fishing. For bushwalkers, there are some stunning National Parks to explore. The beautiful beaches of Yamba are just half an hour away.
